Card Issuance/Card Personalization Manager jobs at National Identity Management Commission (NIMC)


National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) was established by the NIMC Act No. 23 of 2007, with responsibilities for implementing the National Identity Management System; managing the National Identity Database; issuing General Multi-purpose (smart) Cards (GMPCs); and providing Identity Verification Services in Nigeria.

Job Description
Reporting to the Head, Card Management Services, the successful candidate will have direct responsibility for card data and issuance. This includes managing data entry, data encoding and visualisation, pin generation, card validity testing and finishing.

Desired Skill and Experience
  • A bachelors degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant post-qualification experience or 10 years’ related experience in the Civil Service.
  • Demonstrable experience working with information security products, services, and concepts.
  • Experience in identity database management will be an advantage.
